Updated fees

1 October 2026

From 1 October 2026, there are some changes to our doctors’ fees.

• No card surcharges. Card surcharges are no longer allowed, so the cost of accepting card payments is now included in our fees.

• A small increase to doctors' fees. For most consultations (those under 20 minutes), fees have gone up by $1 to $3. Longer consultations have gone up by a similar percentage (around 2–3%).

• Script requests are now $39. Getting your prescriptions done during your usual appointment is always recommended. For routine repeats or replacing lost scripts, you can request a prescription without an appointment. There's no fee if your doctor declines the request, for example if they need to see you in a consultation first.

  • In addition to calling, you can now also make a request online through HotDoc. Note that HotDoc may add its own small platform fee for online requests.

Welcoming new doctors

4 September 2026

Dr Ayush Srivastava and Dr Latika Verma are now consulting at Bellerive Doctors. 

Dr Latika Verma returns to the Eastern Shore with a wealth of knowledge and experience across the breadth of general practice. She has a caring approach and she enjoys supporting patients in chronic disease management, preventative health, women's health and children's health. She has a specific interest in skin cancer medicine, with experience in dermoscopy and skin excisions. 

Dr Ayush Srivastava is a proceduralist GP, with extensive experience in skin cancer medicine. He performs complex skin excisions and is an experienced provider of vasectomies. He values a patient-centred approach. 

Their books are open to new patients.

Bellerive Doctors is accepting new patients, with appointments available now.

Dr Saranga Jinadasa and Dr Eliza Walker are taking on new patients. Due to his existing caseload, Dr Brodie Carlon is continuing to see existing patients only.
